In 2024 I was interviewed by KERA while working as the Civic Engagement Manager for ATJ (Asian Texans for Justice) about organizing the AAPI community.

In the wake of Roe V. Wade being overturned, I was interviewed by the Tyler Morning Telegraph.

“Roy started her organization in 2014 at UT Tyler. Later, they expanded to be a community organization. Most recently in May, WISE organized three pro-choice rallies in Tyler, when the court's draft opinion on Roe v. Wade was first leaked.”

In 2019, I helped to coordinate an original project for the University of Texas at Tyler Digital Literacies Project. The project was a of the first of its kind program at The University of Texas at Tyler.

In 2015 I received a scholarship to attend a PLEN seminar in Washington DC. I wrote a brief post about the impact of the program and the significance of being awarded a scholarship, as a young woman from rural Texas.

In 2012 The Kilgore News Herald featured my story of being accepted into the Prestigious Citadel Militatry College in South Carolina.

In 2005, I was a 10 year old student headed to Houston,TX for a statewide competition called “Student of the Year”. The newspaper interviewed my mom and I about the opportunity.
